This comprehensive course explores the integration of sacred plant and animal medicines into the field of transpersonal psychology, delving into the historical, cultural, and therapeutic aspects of these practices. The course also explores the work of psychologists who have researched and incorporated these sacred practices into therapeutic settings. Students will gain a profound understanding of how sacred medicines, including Ayahuasca, Magic Mushrooms, Kambo, Bufo, and other Sacred Plants, are utilized in spiritual and healing ceremonies within the context of the shamanic medicine wheel. The information presented in this course comes from a collaboration of sources including books, workshops, training, and also personal experiences.
